On Monday 20th May, Year 3 enjoyed taking part in a Roman Day. The children came to school dressed up and took part in numerous activities to allow them an insight into Roman life and further develop their knowledge of the Romans. The children took part in various activities including a Roman feast, making Roman shields, role-playing Roman army formations, learning Roman numerals and creating and tasting Roman honey bread. The children really enjoyed the day and learnt lots about the    Romans!
