We would like to encourage your child/children to dress up as a favourite book character and bring the physical book into school. They or the class teacher can then share extracts from the texts. The book can be fiction or non-fiction!

There are some lovely ideas in the attachments for low-cost (and effort) costumes and even ideas for a World Book Day potato character if your child does not want to dress up! Enjoy getting creative, but more importantly, enjoy sharing books with your child!
