On Saturday 18^th of March 2017 the members of the School Council from KS2 went to London. We travelled by train and then by tube. We visited Buckingham Palace and then walked through St James’ Park to Horse Guards Parade where we met the Queen’s Guards and their horses. We then had a tour of the Houses of Parliament. We were able to see the two different houses, the House of Lords and the House of Commons. We were told how laws are made and what happens when Parliament is in session. What a great day we had!
